Top notes include grapefruit, pink peppercorn and jasmine, saffron, fresh fir needle and creamy cedar for the heart, and amber, earthy oakmoss and skin musk for the base. Eilish worked to create a fragrance that she felt reflected her personal evolution with a woody scent that was sensual and modern, the brand said.
For the bottle, Eilish translated the color red into a crimson rendition of Eilish No. 2’s packaging, highlighting the singer’s favorite parts of the body: the chest, neck and collarbone.
Eilish launched her first fragrance in 2021 in partnership with Parlux. Parlux also holds the licenses for Paris Hilton and Vince Camuto. The first fragrance, simply called Eilish, launched direct-to-consumer that November for $68.
Eilish has synesthesia, a condition in which senses intertwine, and says her nose is particularly strong. “Every choice I make, fashion-wise, hair-wise and musically, I always want things to sound like a certain smell,” she said to WWD when she launched her first fragrance. “I have a very, very, very strong and long relationship with scent.”
Eilish was followed by Eilish No. 2, which launched in September 2022, as fragrance sales boomed from “revenge shopping” post pandemic lockdown.
