How do you get better at recognizing individual notes?

I’ve been a big fan of fragrance for a while and have a little collection. That being said, I wish I could be more comprehensive in my reviews. I have a pretty good nose (it’s very easy for me to recognize scents) and I know what some notes smell like (lavender, vanilla, things I run into on a regular basis) but I’ve got nooo clue how to interpret something like musk or oud or anything like that. How did some of you get better at picking out these different notes in a perfume?
