Is your bottle of Chloe running low but you don’t fancy forking out a fortune for a new one?
Well, the beauty enthusiast advised to check out the discount retailer’s new Chalou by Suddenly Fragrances that’s selling for £5.25.
The signature scent, which features magnolias and peonies, is the perfect pick for those loving a summery perfume – but priced at an astronomical £90 for a small bottle, it’s easy to see why we’d rather buy the cheaper version.
According to the dupe guru, Lidl have now also launched a fantastic lookalike for Lancome’s La Vie Est Belle, a favourite for those obsessed with all things floral and sweet vanilla, named Femelle.
Whilst the high-end perfume sells for £96, the dupe at the budget-friendly supermarket scans for a mere £5.25, saving you over a whopping £80 – cha-ching.
There is also something for those on the lookout for the perfect cheap gift for their partners – or those wanting a more masculine aroma.
For instance, Lidl’s Homme Paris – same price as the other dupes – is thought to be a close match to the cult classic, Sauvage by Dior (£74), whilst the Deep perfume is a similar scent to the woody Bley De Chanel (£81).
The new collection, which landed in stores earlier in November, also features a bargain alternative to the shopper-loved One Million by Paco Rabanne.
According to the customer, who’s got close to 51k followers on the platform, the discount store’s One Fragrance is an fantastic pick if you don’t want to spend £72 for the real deal – and it even comes in a similar packaging.
Hundreds raced to comments, where they shared their thoughts, with one raving about the collection: ”Had them all. Brilliant for work. Haven’t seen the boss orange dupe for ages.
”Madam glamour and Chalou are my faves.”
Someone else chimed in: ”I have the second one, I love it!”
However, not everyone was impressed, as some insisted the quality did not match.
”Smell of Lidl perfumes last for 10 minutes only,” a beauty lover warned others.
Another agreed, writing: ”And what about the duration of the smell? How short it will takes.. I still go on branded… you will see the quality.”
